Policies
Tuition: Tuition is due the 1st – 7th of every month. When registering online you will see the option to select auto pay to have the card on file automatically charged the 1st of every month. The option is there as well to pay check/cash or card by the 7th of the month. Tuition is late the 8th of every month, cards on file will be charged the 8th of the month regardless of attendance. Tuition may not be carried over to the following month. Missed classes are available for make-up. Classes must be made up within 3 weeks of the missed class. No refunds will be given on lessons.
A $25.00 returned check fee is charged for all returned checks.
Registration: A $40.00 annual registration fee per student along with the first month tuition fee is due at the time of registration.
Family Discounts: A 10% discount will be given for each additional immediate family member. Discounts are applied to the lowest tuition. The discounted tuition rates for family members apply only to siblings and parents taking classes.
Withdrawal Forms : To withdraw from a class parents must fill out a withdrawal form, please click on the link below. Accounts will continue to be charged if a withdrawal form has not been signed and turned in at the desk.
Classrooms: We ask that parents/guardians do not enter the dance rooms unless invited in the room.
Dance Attire: Proper dance clothing/shoes are required. No street clothes are permitted in any dance class.
Hair: All students must wear their hair in buns or ponytails unless short. Hair must not fall or hit the student in their eyes when dancing.
Combo 1 and 2 classes: Any type of dance attire, ballet and tap shoes are required.
Ballet: Black leotard, pink footed tights, ballet skirts are acceptable over the leotard. Pink ballet shoes are required. Hair must be in a bun.
Jazz: Tight fitted top/leotard. spandex shorts/pants, jazz shoes are required.
Tap: Dance/athletic clothing, tap shoes are required.
Acro: Tight fitted top/leotard, spandex shorts/pants, barefoot is preferred. If you are wearing tights, please wear footless or
convertible tights
Hip Hop: Athletic oriented clothing, no street clothes. Athletic shoes are required (these shoes are worn only in dance class,
not outside).
Contemporary: Tight fitted top/leotard, spandex shorts/pants, "eclipse" dance shoes or ballet shoes are required.
NO STREET SHOES ARE ALLOWED IN ANY DANCE ROOM.
2024 HOLIDAY SHOW & TOY DRIVE – CACTUS HIGH SCHOOL, DECEMBER 15TH, 5:30 P.M. - Dancers need to arrive at 4:30 p.m.,
All classes will participate in the Holiday Show. A $40.00 Holiday Show fee per dancer will be charged, families with multiple children will be charged an additional $35.00 fee per dancer. The fee includes a Holiday Show T-shirt and one download link. The Holiday Show fee will be posted to accounts November 1st. The fee will be removed from family accounts if you are not participating in the show. A google docs form will be emailed to all families October 1st. This form does need to be filled out even if your dancer will not be participating in the show, please fill this form out by October 15th.
HOLIDAY SHOW ADMISSION: Online general seating tickets will go on sale 7:00 a.m., November 1st, $10.00 each. Online tickets sales will end December 4th. Anyone sitting in a seat must purchase a ticket. If tickets are available they will be sold at the door, $12.00 each. We ask that all families bring an unwrapped toy. We will have a surprise visitor at the end of the show. More information will follow as to how to purchase tickets.
RECITAL 2025: Our 51st annual recital will be June 6th, 7th & 8th at Valley Vista Performing Arts Center, 15550 N. Parkview Place,Surprise AZ; A $85.00 recital fee per dancer will be charged, families with multiple children will be charged an additional $55.00 fee per dancer. The fee includes a Recital T-shirt and one download link per family. The recital fee will be posted to accounts January 1st, 2025. The fee will be removed from family accounts if you are not participating in the show. A google docs form will be emailed to all families October 1st. This form does need to be filled out even if your dancer will not be participating in the show, please fill this form out by October 15th.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal is June 6th, 5:00 p.m. at Valley Vista Performing Arts Center. Please arrive by 4:45 p.m. Dancers may leave after they have rehearsed their number or stay and watch all the other dancers. Dress rehearsal is a closed rehearsal, only 1 parent/guardian will be allowed at dress rehearsal.
RECITAL PARTICIPATION/NON- PARTICIPATION FORM: A Google Docs from must be filled out for all students by October 15th. This form does need to be filled out even if your dancer will not be participating in the recital. Families will receive an email with the google docs link October 1st.
COSTUME SIZE FORM: A costume Google Docs from must be filled out by November 24th for each student participating in the June recital. An email with the google docs link will be sent November 17th.
COSTUME DEPOSIT: Costume deposits of $60.00 per costume for students participating in the annual recital are due by January 13th, 2025. Costumes must be paid in full by April 12, 2025.
